Hike for Hope | Truckee Community Photographer, Kelli Price

The Hike for Hope began in 2020 as a journey of remembrance that unites our community - a time to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental illness have affected our lives, our loved ones, and our community. Please join us for this gathering of support and suicide prevention, all while enjoying a wonderful and accessible 3.2 mile hike in the beauty of Donner Memorial State Park!

Sponsor this Hike

  • Please consider partnering with our team and sponsoring our 5th Annual Hike for Hope event on Sunday, June 23, 2023 at Donner Memorial State Park. Our goal is to raise $15,000 this year to support local prevention efforts.

  • Why support Hike for Hope? Ski towns have higher rates of suicide than the national average. With your support, our community can work together to prevent future suicides through outreach, education, and collaboration.

  • Suicide is a leading cause of death and it is preventable. All donations raised will go directly back into the community. 95% of donations will support local high school Hope Squad projects and local non-profit, The Speedy Foundation. 5% of donations will go to the Linked by Legacy Suicide Prevention Research Summit.

  • Depending on your level of sponsorship, your logo will be listed on our website, social media pages, and applicable marketing materials. After registering a member of the planning team will reach out to secure your acknowledgment details.

  • Sponsor the Hike for Hope and show the Truckee/Tahoe community that you are a voice for suicide prevention.

💜Thank you to our 2024 sponsors💜
