Autodesk TechX: A company invitation = more engagement
I'm excited to share that I'll be heading to Dallas this week to work with Autodesk and capture photographs at their TechX event. Last year, I had the pleasure of photographing the event at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and it was an absolute blast. This year, I can't wait to see what's in store.
What's unique about the TechX event is that it's not a mandatory company meeting, but rather an incentive for Autodesk employees to come together and brainstorm, collaborate, and listen (sorry, had to go there) to inspiring speakers. As a photographer who has captured many meetings, general sessions, and guest speakers, I've noticed that events like these tend to have higher engagement rates when attendees are there because they want to be.
One of the most exciting things about this year's TechX event is that Autodesk has developed a photo streaming software specifically for the occasion. As a company that creates software for designers, it's not surprising that they've come up with a solution that makes it easy for the photography team to upload their highlights throughout the day, keeping the photo feed fresh and engaging. Attendees are also invited to upload their photos to a Slack channel, which can be shared on other monitors. This collaborative approach to photography is an excellent way to involve everyone in the event and create a shared experience.
Overall, I'm looking forward to working with Autodesk again and capturing the energy and excitement of the TechX event. It's always inspiring to see people come together and collaborate, and I can't wait to see the amazing things that will come out of this year's event.
